Governance (Anti-Glamour, Change Control, Failure Modes)
Status: v1.0 — 2026-02-01
Safety Banner (Anti-Glamour)
This packet is designed to stay auditable and non-exploitable.
Hard bans:
- destiny language and prophecy framing
- entity-addressing or bargaining language
- “anything asked of me” (unbounded submission)
- guarantees or certainty theater
- requests for privileged access (accounts, credentials, private data, device control)
- Instrumentalizing vulnerable people (using care as signaling rather than duty)
Change-Control (boring on purpose)
Change types
- Patch: clarity only
- Revision: meaning change
- Extension: new section/page
Minimum requirements for revisions
- claims vs assumptions labeled
- at least one failure mode stated
- reversion rule applied if glamour/coercion risk increases
Reversion rule
If an edit increases glamour, coercion risk, or ambiguity: revert and document why.
Failure modes to keep visible
- Containment-like drift: dignity invariants degrade while “safety” remains
- Surveillance creep: monitoring expands until privacy disappears
- Stagnation: “safe” becomes “static,” undermining full lives
- Internal domination: inequality and abuse re-emerge inside the Reserve
- Bargaining drift: the packet turns into a pitch or invocation
Downshift protocol
If urgency, obsession, or cosmic framing appears: Stop → Summarize → Shrink scope → One SSNS.
